HPMSM Programme

Eryvium's HPMSM Programme upgrades qualified manganese sulphate materials into two battery-grade products: ultra-high-purity HPMSM at 99.99% (4N) and battery-grade HPMSM at 99.98% — manganese precursors for NMC, manganese-rich, and LMFP cathode chemistries. Pilot-stage technical work is completed, with first commercial production targeted within twelve months.

Clean Feedstock, Proven Process

Eryvium is bringing a commercial HPMSM programme to market, built for reliability, clean operations, and disciplined scale-up. The process starts from qualified manganese sulphate materials and upgrades them to two grades — ultra-high-purity HPMSM at 99.99% (4N) and battery-grade HPMSM at 99.98% — through a proprietary technical route.

Our approach prioritises defined input quality, simpler flowsheets, and efficient impurity control. Capacity expands with customer demand toward a combined target of 24,000 tonnes per annum across the United States and Europe, building regional supply security.

ESG Commitment: Near-zero-waste objective through residue valorisation, progressing toward ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 certification, and full alignment with EU environmental standards. Low carbon intensity: a specialty manganese-chemistry route with modelled process emissions of approximately 0.50–0.60 kg CO₂e per kg HPMSM (plant-only basis), declining further with low-carbon energy. A full cradle-to-gate life-cycle assessment is in completion.
